Continuing Certification Labels FAQs

All Continuing Certification (CC) labels for completion of 2025 CC requirements were mailed out via USPS using first class postage during the first week of January 2026. Please review the following additional details about the CC labels:

  • All labels were mailed directly from our manufacturing partner, Jim Henry, Inc., as they have been since 1999.
  • All labels were mailed to the mailing addresses provided by diplomates (who opted in) as indicated in their portals.
  • ABOG has no control over USPS service, nor do we have control over receipt of mail or packages by individual(s) at their destination. Accordingly, labels not received - whether mailed to an incorrect address or a correct one - will not be reprinted and mailed a second time.
  • Jim Henry, Inc. utilizes the Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS), which is a USPS certification program that validates and standardizes mailing addresses to meet postal standards. It ensures accuracy by adding codes, correcting errors, and utilizing delivery point validation (DPV) to reduce undeliverable mail.
  • Because ABOG produces and mails labels to thousands of diplomates, it is not fiscally or operationally feasible to to reprint labels and ship them a second time to diplomates or provide individual tracking details for each mailed label.
  • If you did not yet receive your label:
    • You can purchase a reprint here from Jim Henry.
    • Email info@jimhenryinc.com for the passcode to complete log-in and order a label.

For the updated answer since the confirmation of all labels having been mailed out the first week of January, please refer to the details offered at the top of this page.

ABOG saw an opportunity to conserve environmental resources by foregoing delivery of the label to diplomates who do not place as high a value on it and instead produce and mail labels to those diplomates who opted in for one. Production and distribution of labels will begin each year after the CC completion deadline of November 15. Labels are complimentary to diplomates who opt-in at the time of CC application.

Opting in to receive the label via the Continuing Certification application was the opportunity ABOG provided all active diplomates to receive the label free of charge. Outside of the opt-in process available when applying for CC, ABOG does not have the resources to process labels upon request. You can place an order to purchase a label through Jim Henry, Inc. here. Email info@jimhenryinc.com for the passcode to complete log in.
