Specialty Certification General Details (12)

The following outlines the application process for the Certifying Examination (CE), which is Step II in the Specialty Certification process. Candidates must first complete the Qualifying Examination (QE) before applying for the CE. As the final step in this process, the CE evaluates the candidate’s approach to and rationale for clinical care across a range of patient management scenarios in obstetrics, gynecology, and women’s health.

For comprehensive information—including eligibility criteria, deadlines, and exam content—candidates are encouraged to review the bulletin, which outlines requirements, deadlines, and exam content in depth.
